Tonight marks one year since I last watched television. That was also the last night spent in my bay home. I’m glad I made that decision, and happy that I stuck with it. It is a very unconventional way to live, and was not always easy the first few weeks, but the absence of TV in my life has made room for much better things. Of which I plan to write more soon….

I have cut the cable. When I get a steaming service I pony up the extra money for no commercials. I’m an off the scale extrovert who is mostly living an introverted life. I watch certain shows over and over because it’s less brain stress than watching something new. The ADHD is not medicated right now. Tried one pill and I was awake for 24 hours. Still haven’t worked that out entirely. I have a job I like, working at home. I have a 15 second commute from my bed to the living room. The other nice thing about this streaming stuff is I can stop a show in the middle of it and come back even a couple of days later. Things are on an even keel, and I guess that’s a good thing.

We cut cable ago – we have over the air stations and we don’t miss it either. We started getting ready for retirement after Mom passed 2 years ago and are so glad we did since Greg took early retirement when the company offered him a wonderful package. I’m glad you made the cut and are enjoying your retirement also Eddie.
